16th Annual Dinner Auction
When: Saturday, December 2, 2017 – Holy Mass at Holy Redeemer at 4 pm; Dinner Auction at The Holy Redeemer Family Life Center at 5 pm
Where: Holy Redeemer / Family Life Center – 1227 E Bristol Rd, Burton, MI 48529
How: Persons may call the School for dinner reservations at (810) 742-2411. The cost is $60 per person before November 10th, and $75 per person after November 10th. Raffle tickets are $10 each and the winning prize is $3,000. The drawing will be the evening of the Auction.
Why: St. Thomas More Academy is funded by tuition, the auction, benefactors, and grants. Every year there is a gap between revenue and expenses. The annual auction helps to bridge that gap. STMA tuition is consistently lower than other private schools in the area. In order to continue keeping our tuition at an affordable rate, and with the increasing demands of rising health care costs, liability insurance, utilities, maintenance, etc., we need to raise the goal of our auction revenue each year. Last year, our auction raised $85,000. In 2017, our goal is to raise $100,000. The annual STMA dinner auction is not only a great way to share our mission with others, and give them the opportunity to support a good cause…It is absolutely vital to the continuity of St. Thomas More Academy.
