At St. Thomas More Academy, we work hard to keep tuition as low as possible in order to keep Catholic education affordable and accessible for working families*. We are sure that you’ll agree – STMA has the lowest tuition around.
A quality Catholic education at an affordable price – this is why so many families come from near and far to enroll their children at STMA. For the 2024/2025 school year, tuition will be as follows:
4 Year-Old Kindergarten Tuition (2 days a week)
$1,800 + $300 registration fee per child
5 Year-Old Kindergarten Tuition (3 days a week)
$2,600 + $300 registration fee per child
1st Grade thru 8th Grade Tuition
$4,400 + $300 registration fee per child
9th Grade thru 12th Grade Tuition
$5,600 + $300 registration fee per child

*Several STMA families have received tuition assistance from their parish. Speak to your pastor today and ask him if he will assist you with your child’s tuition.
Uniforms display a commitment to learning and provide an atmosphere of mutual respect for each other.
**High School girls ONLY may also wear the 1/4 zip pullover navy spiritwear jersey with their uniform. (Order in the school office)

Boys' and girls' hair must be neat, well groomed and away from the eyes and face; boys' hair must be cut above the ears, collars and face.
Make-up and jewelry must be subtle and conservative - in good taste. Both boys and girls may wear religious medals.
All STMA students may wear an STMA spiritwear collared polo shirt or sweatshirt with their uniforms on Fridays. (Must be purchased through the school office)

STMA is an independent Catholic school (we are not attached to a parish); we are recognized and approved by the Diocese of Lansing and are in the official Catholic Directory. We encourage each STMA family to be involved in their local parish.
STMA currently enrolls 95 students in grades K-12.
STMA starts school after Labor Day and ends the week after Memorial Day.
STMA offers sports for students in grades five through twelve. We are a part of the Michigan High School Athletic Association (MHSAA) and compete as a Class D school. We offer boys and girls basketball and soccer, and girls volleyball. We compete against other Class D schools in the area.
St. Thomas More does the following testing throughout the school year:
Iowa Testing- Grades 3 and 5 PSAT/NMSQT Testing- Grades 8, 9, 10, and 11 ASVAB Testing- Grades 11 & 12 every 2 years
The 2014 Graduates had an average ACT score of 26.9***
Our school day begins with Holy Mass (contingent upon Priest availability) or Holy Rosary at 8:50 a.m.* and ends at 2:45 p.m. *(attendance in classroom at 8:45a.m.)
STMA offers a strong core curriculum that includes the subjects necessary to prepare our students for higher learning. We do not offer study hall periods or extracurricular subjects within the school day. We, therefore, are able to maximize the instructional time in our classrooms.
